VILLA HERTEL, BADENWEILER

In the spring of 2022, work began for kdb raumconcepte on the heritage-listed Villa Hertel in Badenweiler.
This marked the commencement of a challenging project: collaborating hand in hand with specialist firms from other trades on the restoration of this unique villa.

The first task involved the dismantling of entire rubble-stone walls. Each stone was cleaned individually, and the walls were subsequently reassembled with expert precision.
All stucco, plastering, and drywall work—as well as all interior and exterior painting—was executed by kdb raumconcepte to the highest standards of craftsmanship.

The result is magnificent. The outcome is a villa that has been restored in full compliance with heritage preservation guidelines and that more than meets the demands of contemporary living.
